Dr R. K. Saxena

Dr. R.K. Saxena, lovingly known as Pujya Bade Bhaiyya Ji or Seth Bhaisahab, was a highly revered spiritual master and co-Acharya of Shri Ramashram Satsang, Ghaziabad. Born in 1931 as the eldest son of Param Pujya Babuji Maharaj (Dr. Shyam Lal Saxena), he was declared Acharya in 1981 along with his younger brother. He belonged to the direct spiritual lineage of Lalaji Maharaj (Mahatma Ram Chandra Ji of Fatehgarh), carrying forward the Sant Mat tradition blended with Naqshbandi Sufi elements. His life was a living example of supreme devotion to his Guru (Babuji Maharaj) and selfless service to seekers. On the spiritual front, Dr. Saxena dedicated himself completely to the propagation of inner meditation, guru-bhakti, and practical spirituality while leading a householder’s life. He regularly conducted Satsangs, initiated disciples, and travelled extensively to Satsang centres across India, guiding thousands on the path of love, surrender, and self-realisation. Even while serving as a medical doctor and later battling illness, his focus remained unwavering on spiritual practice and the welfare of devotees. His charming personality, deep compassion, and profound inner connection left a lasting spiritual fragrance in the Ramashram tradition. He passed away in 2002, but his teachings and loving presence continue to inspire the satsang community.
